These volumes depict timber tracts in Texas counties: Angelina, Jasper, Jefferson, Hardin, Liberty, Nacogdoches, Newton, Orange, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, and Tyler; and Louisiana’s Calcasieu Parish. The information includes acreage, soil description, topography, pine production, merchantable pine statistics such as total feet and tree measurements, statistics for hardwoods such as ties and feet values, and hand drawn maps depicting the layout of the virgin pine forests.
